"Alone Together With Words That Heal"
Recorded live on Zoom at the historic Barn House on September 26, 2020, Alone Together With Words that Heal at the Clemmons Family Farm was an interactive community-building arts and culture program featuring an audience check-in poll to find out how participants were feeling that day, a fascinating talk by poet and scholar Keenan Norris. The program also included the live storytelling of Mrs. Lydia Clemmons Senior, and featured artists Omega Jade (hip hop) and Harmony Edosomwan (poet). Alone Together With Words That Heal was produced by the Clemmons Family Farm, directed by Pamela Donohoo, and hosted by Dr. Lydia Clemmons (daughter of Lydia and Jackson Clemmons). Duration: 1 hours, 07 minutes. (Note: To honor the intimate and confidential setting of small-group writing, the breakout rooms in which participants created poetry, hip hop and creative writing with each artist were not recorded. We have only shared the prompts used by each artist.)
