Why, Hello There, Artists!

Artists, we have your back. We are working to help build a strong network of Vermont artists who self-identify as Black, African-American and/or of the African diaspora.

When you register to join our network, we'll let you know about professional development opportunities, paid engagements, grants, and opportunities to meet, socialize, and collaborate with other artists.  You'll receive invitations to our weekly Thriving Artist Zoom calls to be together in community, ground ourselves, share news, and learn about what other artists are up to.

For artists in our network, we also share information about grants and other resources for artists, and we do our best to help you to prepare grant proposals. We are now offering a public service to connect you to the public who contact us looking for artists to hire you for engagements. Each time we make these connections, we advocate for your fair compensation and for empowering engagements that will help you thrive in Vermont.
