Windows To A Multicultural World

Joy in Motion! Tutorial Videos
for K-12 Teachers

Clemmons Family Farm's Windows To A Multicultural World Joy in Motion! curriculum is a special edition of Window 1-Traveling While Black that focuses on African-American history and culture under the broad theme of travel-related motion in four curriculum packages.  The arts-integrated curriculum places a strong emphasis on joy as a skill for resilience, resistance, and healing during challenging times.

The Joy in Motion! tutorial video series is designed to help K-12 teachers and schools learn more about the
Joy in Motion! curriculum and teaching artist engagements, and how to use them with their students. Each tutorial video is grade-specific and focuses on one lesson in each of the four curriculum packages.

To learn more about the curriculum, teaching artists engagements, and field trips to the historic Clemmons farm in Charlotte, and to discuss how you can bring the Joy in Motion! curriculum and teaching artists into your school, union, or district, please contact us at [email protected]
